Dhauladhar Range: This mountain range runs parallel to the Himalayas and is part of the Outer Himalayan Subrange. It stretches over 120 kilometers and has several peaks above 5,000 meters (16,404 feet). Some of the highest peaks include Indrahanagar Peak (5,282 m), Hanuman Tibba (5,928 m), and Lahaul Spiti Pass (5,050 m).

Climate: Dharamshala experiences a temperate climate throughout the year. Summers are warm but pleasant, with temperatures ranging between 20°C and 30°C (68°F and 86°F). Winters are cool, with temperatures dropping below freezing point. Rainfall occurs mainly during the monsoon season, which lasts from July to September.
