Itinerary
Morning: Start your journey from Chandigarh to Shimla via a private cab (approx. 4-5 hours). Check-in at your Shimla hotel and freshen up. Evening: Stroll along the Mall Road, visit Christ Church, and enjoy a romantic dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel. Visit Kufri, a picturesque hill station known for its lush greenery and adventure activities. Afternoon: Explore the Indian Institute of Advanced Studies and the Viceregal Lodge. Evening: Return to Shimla and spend the evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Morning: Check out from the Shimla hotel after breakfast. Drive to Manali (approx. 7-8 hours), enjoying scenic views on the way. Reach Manali and check-in at your hotel. Evening: Relax and explore the local market. Overnight stay in Manali.
Morning: After breakfast, visit the Hadimba Temple, a unique wooden temple amidst lush forests. Explore the Manu Temple and the Old Manali village. Afternoon: Enjoy a visit to the Solang Valley for adventure activities or a leisurely stroll along the river. Evening: Return to Manali for an overnight stay.
Morning: Depart early for a day trip to Rohtang Pass (subject to availability and weather conditions). Enjoy snow activities and breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Return to Manali in the evening. Spend your last night in Manali.
Morning: Check out from the hotel after breakfast. Drive back to Chandigarh (approx. 7-8 hours). Reach Chandigarh and transfer to your desired drop-off location or the airport/railway station.

It was a freezing day. We took warm jackets and shoes on rent. After that, we hired small ponies to go up to Kufri. It was fun and adventurous.
I had experienced a nice panoramic view of the mountains. That was refreshing.
